COVID-19

All of us at MSCM take the health, wellbeing and safety of our students, tutors, staff and visitors very seriously and we will take all necessary precautions to ensure everyone’s continued welfare while in our care.

We want to provide you with information about the proactive planning efforts and actions that we are undertaking. We know issues like this can be stressful and we are saddened for the people and families who have been affected.

Here’s what we’re doing and will continue to do:

  • We are taking a measured ‘common sense’ approach and will keep you updated with any developments or changes as appropriate. There is, at present, no reason to stop training and our schedule of courses and workshops remains unchanged.
  • We are following Public Health Authority and WHO guidelines to help prevent the spread of any virus.
  • We are cleaning and disinfecting every day, with even greater attention to high-touch areas before and during and after our teaching sessions.
  • We are asking that anyone who feels ill in any way, including having a fever within 24 hours, please stay home. This is always our policy!
  • We are requesting that staff or students who have returned from Iran, specific lockdown areas in northern Italy, special care zones in South Korea or Hubei province China (returned in the past 14 days) should self- isolate, and NOT attend.
  • We are stocked up on anti-bacterial soap and with plenty of paper towels. Your best defence is to wash your hands often, especially before eating and before/after use of communal electronics, with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • We are requesting you wash hands as soon as you arrive in class and avoid touching your face, especially eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • We are also requesting you wash hands or use hand-sanitizer after blowing your nose and to discard tissues into the bin immediately after use.
  • We are staying open.  If recommendations from medical or government authorities should change, we will adapt to those recommendations and communicate any changes as quickly as possible.

And finally…..

  • We are looking forward to seeing you in class.

By working together, we can help prevent the spread of germs and provide a safe experience for everyone visiting.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Thank you

The MSCM Team
