Finding a career in Complementary Therapies

Complementary therapy training can lead to an incredibly rewarding career. More and more people are turning to Complementary Therapies as part of a healthy lifestyle and therapists will these skills are very much in demand.

Some complementary therapists work for an employer out of an established practice, but many work for themselves. Those who are freelance may rent a room to practice from or work from home. Some may offer a mobile service where they travel to clients' homes. The possibilities are endless. It is one of the most flexible careers you can have. You can tailor your career to suit your needs – it can be full-time or part-time and you can mix and match how you work. It is not uncommon for therapists to do a day a week on a corporate site, some time in a clinic and the rest of the time doing mobile visits either to their own clients or via a mobile massage company.
