Each season brings some common and predictable patterns that can affect our health. During winter, the earth’s energy is drawn back into herself: It’s a time of rest, storing and preparation. Winter is the time of year where you need to be more grounded, internalised and still. It is also time to look after your immune system, as we seem to be more susceptible to colds, flu and other respiratory illnesses in the cooler temperatures.


Winter is a high-stress time of year during which we often neglect our health, leaving immune systems weakened and less capable of protecting against germs.


The truth is that nature has plenty of sources waiting to be utilised and used to support our immunity.

Course Details


This online course has been designed to look at supporting health and immunity throughout seasonal changes and the winter months. We will examine the common concerns and symptoms that may affect us at these times, why they might happen and useful lifestyle/diet considerations we can use to support wellness. We then go into looking at categories of natural health, how they can be used at home and popular remedies for these times of need.


During the course we will cover the following:

  • Common issues that may affect our immune health, such as:
    • Colds
    • Flu
    • Sinus/respiratory
    • Poor circulation
    • Low mood SAD
  • Lifestyle / diet considerations
  • Common triggers that can impact immune health – potential constitutional weaknesses and how these can interact
  • The various natural health categories, what they are, and how they can be used along with safety, such as:
    • Herbal
    • Aromatherapy
    • Nutrition (supplements/superfoods)
  • Popular remedies within these categories, how to use/recipes
    • Herbal teas/tinctures
    • Useful essential oils for inhalation
    • Making your own products and internal home recipes

You will leave confident in talking to your clients about possible solutions or where to seek further advice
