Do I need any previous experience to join the Anatomy and Physiology course?
There are no academic prerequisites for enrolling on the ITEC Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology. Our course is suitable from a beginner level.
2
English is not my first language can I attend your course?
Yes of course – you would be most welcome. We should point out that as the course is conducted in English, reasonable fluency in written and spoken English language is required. We have over 26 years’ experience teaching this course and many students do not have English as their first language. We work hard as a team to make this course accessible for all and our tutors are very supportive. If needed extra time may be allowed for the exam subject to approval from the examination board.

I'm worried I'm too old to take this course?
Not at all! Age is just a number! We welcome all ages on courses at MSCM – from 18 upwards. We realise that for some who haven’t studied for many years – it may seem daunting to study Anatomy and Physiology but we take good care of you though out the course and make the learning fun and interesting. The best way to learn!

I am nervous about going ‘back to school'. Am I able to sit in on a class before I decide?
We always welcome all prospective students to come and watch a real class in action. You will have the opportunity to see how we teach and at the same time to meet the tutor and have a chat with some of our current student.

How much time will I need to spend studying from home?
This is the hardest question to answer as everyone is different. Some people are quick learners, some need more time. What we can say is you need to allow at least the same number of hours you spend in class studying from home. Longer if you choose to do the part home study course. We do set really useful homework which keeps you on course and helps you when you are not in class and we do start each course helping you find out what type of learner you are and making suggestions for the best way to study.
6
I have a disability can I attend?
You would be most welcome. We will be happy to organise what is required. Please email us with more information before you book so we can help you further.
7
What happens if I fail my exams?
We have an extremely high pass rate. It is highly unlikely that you will fail your exam as we will ensure that you are fully prepared for your examinations. During the course we provide you with lots of exam-style questions and practise to help you and also give you assistance with exam tips. You will do a dry run through with a mock exam at the end of the course so you will know what to expect. In the unlikely event you have a bad day on exam day you can always re-sit the exam.

Is there additional support available if I need it?
We are here to support you as much as you need us. Private tuition with one of our tutors is always a possibility.
